Author Stephen Covey is a master and I appreciate him authorizing and supporting his book for use on an e-reader. Some haven't made that step yet, but I have hope. But that's not the point of this post.....
The point is, there is some work a board can do that is timeless. Investing your time in understanding your board norms, policies, and procedures is some of that work. I guarantee it will save you time and will benefit your board and communities for years to come.
Don't be exhausted or exhausting. Spend the time and while you're at it....one way or another, read the masters.
